About
I am Nico.
I build this stuff.
I am a hands-on AI practitioner and a long-time HubSpot and RevOps specialist who ships agent-first software for a living. I teach from real, current build experience, not theory, and my whole approach is evidence over hype: what AI actually does, what it does not, and what is worth your time.
How I got here
Tired of watching people struggle
I came up through graphic design, then CRM and RevOps, and then into AI as it became the thing that changed what one person could build. Along the way I co-taught a six-week AI bootcamp with the HubSpot Academy team, sat on podcasts separating AI demos from things that ship, and kept shipping my own software.
Hub Helper Harry is a good example. I got tired of watching people struggle with dense documentation, so I built a specialist assistant that answers with citations, remembers context, and routes between models to keep costs sane. No VC, no data harvesting, just a useful thing that works.
That is the pattern behind everything here. I learn something by building it for real, then I teach it plainly so you can do the same. Most AI content online is hype or theory. I wanted a place to learn what actually works, from someone who does the work.
What I stand for
How I work
Evidence over hype
My whole stance is separating parlor tricks from real application. Every claim I make about what AI is worth is grounded in how the work actually breaks down, labeled as an estimate, and checkable. If something is uncertain or depends on your situation, I say so.
I teach what I ship
I am a hands-on builder before I am a teacher. I ship agent-first software, RAG systems with citations, automations, and CRM work, and I only teach the things I actually do. The rigor travels with the person, not a slide deck.
You keep the skill
The goal is for you to be able to do this yourself. Most of what I offer is built so you walk away capable, not dependent. Building it for you is the exception, offered only when it genuinely makes more sense than learning it.
Accessible, not gatekept
I meet people where they are, from someone opening a chat tool for the first time to someone wiring agents into their stack. No jargon for its own sake, no making you feel behind.
What I offer
Three lines, in order
Training leads. The assessment is a value-add within that. Building it for you is the occasional upsell, never the pitch.
01
The front door
Training, coaching, consulting
This is the main thing I do. Practical courses from a literacy on-ramp through advanced build skills, available a la carte, in bundles, or as team plans, plus direct 1:1 and small-group coaching. Taught by me, grounded in real work.
02
The value-add
The free assessment
Tell me about a role or workflow and I estimate what automating it could be worth, using public wage data and cited benchmarks, without ever needing your internal financials. It is a starting point and an honest one, not a sales trap.
03
The cherry on top
Build and deploy
For a small number of engagements, I will build and roll out the solution directly, after training or an assessment. It is the secondary offering, not the headline. Most people are better served learning to do it themselves with my help.
